My teaching philosophies are simple and holistic:
Help students build a strong technical foundation.
Nurture creativity and curiosity, giving students the confidence to follow inspiration wherever it leads.
Create personalized, effective practice routines.
Honor each student’s individuality, strengthening their unique voice as both an artist and a human. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching music.
I believe every voice deserves to be heard, from beginner to professional, and I’m committed to providing access and opportunities for all.

Vocal Teacher & Coach
Welcoming all ages, skill levels, and styles.
One-hour, one-on-one sessions personalized to each student's goals, with shorter or longer sessions available to suit learning styles and needs.
Customized practice routines to reinforce progress and techniques between lessons.
In-person and remote options available.

Masterclasses
Meg has recently led vocal masterclasses for institutions like Skidmore College, Taos Opera Institute, University of South Carolina, University of Colorado, University of Utah, and more, including small group sessions with Creede Musical Arts Collective and University of Southern Maine.
Open to the public within the presenting organization’s guidelines, each masterclass addresses individual student’s needs in an open forum, creating a safe environment encouraging students to learn from & with each other.
Masterclass Philosophy
Approach each student with kindness and meet them where they are.
Foster a positive, judgment-free space where all participants and attendees can learn.
Maintain honesty when discussing concepts and adjustments; never gaslight a student.

General Music Lessons // Instrumental basics & Theory
Welcoming all ages, skill levels, and musical styles.
One-on-one and group sessions tailored to each student’s goals and needs.
Sessions are typically one hour, but can be adjusted based on age, learning style, group size, and goals.
Daily practice activities are assigned to support progress between lessons, similar to language learning.
In-person and remote options available.
